Getting To and Around the Reserve

Getting There

Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Resrve is located east of Melbourne, Victoria, in Belgrave South (Melway ref. 84 D7). Vehicle access is via Lysterfield, from Wellington Road, or via Belgrave (from Belgrave-Hallam Road and Mount Morten Road). The Belgrave South bus (route 697) also stops near the top of Courtneys Road (about 50m from the northern end of the reserve).

Park Access

Parking is available at the intersection of Orchid Road with Courtneys Road (main car park) and near the middle of the reserve. Limited parking is also available along the northern edge of the reserve.

Note that some tracks have been closed due to erosion or because areas are affected by cinnamon fungus. Please use only the tracks shown on the map.

There are no toilet, rubbish or formal seating facilities throughout the park. Please take your rubbish home.
