DescriptionBright orange-red cap around 3–5 cm. White gills with veil remnants on the cap which are readily washed off. Ringless, unlike the more commonly known Amanita muscaria.
HabitatAmongst grass in leaf litter near Eucalypts (with which it has an ectomycorrhizal relationship).
DistributionThroughout the reserve as individuals or small, dispersed groups.
